This game was the best ice breaker. Everyone participated and enjoyed hearing the creative story of Mr and Mrs Wright and passing the gifts from left to right. We loved this game and will use it at the next event.
Thank you!!!!

I was so nervous about picking some games that were not the "usual" yarn around the waist or guess the baby food ones. I picked this one because it sounded like it would be loads of fun and IT WAS!!! I had three prizes and because the father-to-be (he wasn't there) was an avid golfer, it made the game even better because the mother-to-be kept listening to the story and commenting on the story and how it related to the father--all the while we were all frantically passing LEFT then RIGHT....it was a fun one. I highly recommend this one.
Must be married.

I love left to right games. The guest love playing this type of game. But when I purchased this game. I didn't realize it was Mr. Right and Mrs. Right having a baby. The mom is not married so I am unable to use this game. I wish in the description it would have said so.

Our guests loved this game. It was simple to implement and got everyone involved. Watching the mother to be open her gifts can become tedious after awhile so midway through gift opeing we played the game. Everyone was involved and it woke up the crowd. People from other rooms in the restaurant peeked in to see what all the laughter and noise was about! And it gave the mother to be a much needed bathroom break!
SUPER FUN!

I wrapped enough small gifts in blue paper(we know it is a boy!)for half of my guests. It was hilarious to watch them pass the gifts right and left and try to keep up with the story. Make sure gifts are not breakable as the passing can get crazy! No one had ever played this and it was a big hit.

Everyone loved this new game, and had fun playing it. Make sure the person who is reading the story is close to the circle of guests, but not in it. I had trouble reading the story and passing the gifts at the same time! I used 4 gifts for our group of 20.
Excellent fun and easy game

This was a very easy game and made for huge laughs! I used 2 gifts per round table and sometimes the gifts ended up next to each other rather than across the table which made for more laughs. I was laughing so hard reading the script that I could hardly read.

I was a little worried that guests, mainly the older ones, would not want to participate, but everyone loved it! It got them out of their seats and in a silly mood! One guest commented that it was the most fun shower game she has ever played!
Everyone loved this game!

No one at the shower had played this game before and they really enjoyed it. I have a fairly small house so this game was perfect as everyone was sitting in a large circle and no one had to get up. The only suggestion I would have would be to have some sort of bean bag or plastic bag/box to pass around instead of gifts. I had put the gifts in paper gift bags and they were pretty trashed by the end of the game from being passed around so much.

There were lots of giggles and "oops!.. change direction, quick!" cooments made during this game. I sent out three different prizes. one for each table. The quests had a great time keeping up with the story. Would I do this again? You bet.....What great fun!

This game was alot of fun especially with the amount of people but I think there needs to be more lefts in a row and more rights in a row so the gifts travelled further around before going back the other way.
Make sure you have enough prizes

I had 3 gifts for 26 people which wasn't quite enough. The pace is so hectic, I'd definitely advocate 1 gift per 5 people. There was a little pocket of our circle with didn't get enough action.
I'd also say to have big gifts - we had small ones - so that everyone can really see where they are - that would ad to the hilarity.
I'd say it was fine - not the funniest game in the world, but definitely good.
It was a HIT!

I chose a couple different games from this sight. Some of the others, I thought would be a huge hit, but were not. This one, I just chose as a backup, but was unsure anybody would like it. We ended up playing it last, when some of the people had already gone. So, of course I had a few more prizes to add to the game. I did one prize per about every three players. EVERYBODY looooooved this game!! They were having a hard time concentrating on passing the prizes because they were laughing so hard! Of course, it helped that the prizes were really good, as some people were trying to cheat and pass them slowly, (so they could maybe keep them when the story was over), while others were going really fastwhich only added to the hysteria, but it made them laugh even harder!! It was hilarious! I would DEF recommend a game like this, which takes the perfect amount of time for a baby shower game, and will work for ANY number of guests!

Because the game was set up to allow the names of the expected parents to be added in the story, the game was THE BIGGEST HIT of the event. Everyone laughed hysterically and some wanted to know where did I get the game from so they can have it for their up coming baby shower; And, of course I pass on the information. Thank you.

I was looking for a humorous story to add laughter to the shower. I was so disappointed in your game. Since there was a charge, I expected so much more. I choose not to even use it which caused more frustration because I spent money on a game that I didn't use and will not recommend it to friends. Sorry.
Everyone loved it and enjoyed alot of laughs!

We had 14 guests that were busy talking and eating and drinking punch. We only alloted 2 hours for the shower so we had to motivate everyone to the seating area. We used this game to get everyone seated and ready to proceed with the party. Everyone was laughing and having a good time with this game. We used the custom version of the game and gave the color print to the Mom-To-Be.

I personalized this game with the mom and dad to be. Mom loved the story and asked me for a copy of it. I had 22 guests and I felt the story was a little to long. I actually left out a few paragraphs because it was taking to long. I had 3 gifts going with this game. STILL was a good game though!
this game was a riot!

the confusion the game creates was actually what made it so exciting. A few ladies took on the self proclaimed role of making sure the gifts were going in the right direction. Everyone had a hoot. We had every age group there, from 11 year olds to an 80 year old
Great fun

I adapted the story slightly to suit the couple, i.e. he left her watching "Sex in the City", and had 3 gifts to pass around. There was a lot of laughter when most guests didn't know their right from left and couldn't hear over the others shouting. Even the men came up from the basement to see what all the fun was.

We used items that might be a bit harder to hold on to: big pack of diapers, the babywipe refill pack, a funny shaped shampoo bottle... This caused alot of problems! It was so fun to watch them try to handle them, pass them each way, drop them, hustle to pick them back up only to pass again... Very FUN! (we even let the kids join in on this one, they really got in to it!)

This is a different game than most are used to. Some of the partiers were ready for traditional games, so I bought this to encourage activity and interaction. I also had many prizes to give away in a short time. I didn't want to keep my guests too long.
This game allows everyone to participate, and is great for large groups. Participants basically pass the distributed gifts left or right as you read a story with a lot of lefts and rights in it. We only liked one of the stories, so I wrote a poem for the last round. The game caused mass confusion and a lot of laughing. A great beginning for any party.

We started the story off slowly at first until the guests got the hang of how to play the game. That did not take long. The game was exciting and brought lots of laughter. Everybody loved the game. We had 25 guests (men and women) so we divided them into different tables so that it would be easier to pass the prizes around. This game in my opinion was the funniest game of all the games at the shower.

I just want to thank Baby Shower Games A To Z's president and founder, Heather Pieczonka, and her workers, for creating a game (Right and Left Baby Game) that was well worth it! I actually bought this game for my mother's sister who's going to have a baby soon. Mom called her up, and they both discussed the game, and they've decided that they are definitely going to use the game this Sunday (02-08-2009) at their baby shower because it is so fun!
Nothing has come to mind when thinking of other printable game cards for showers hehe, however, I, too, liked the product. I will mention the game to my wife if and when i get married. I'm twenty-four and still single!
As far as the information and games provided on the website, I think that everything was well said, and pretty self-explanatory. Everything was easy to read and very interesting. I had no problems, really. You guys did a great job hehe!
