At my daughter in laws baby shower, we played a couple of games to "break the ice". We got the laughter started with "Pregnancy How Sweet It Is" and followed with "Baby Word Scrambles" which really heated up the competition! Be sure to have a few prizes on hand which makes the shower a big hit!

This was a great game. Everyone had fun playing this. Some even tried to make their own words out of existing phrases.

My shower guests did baby bingo and medium word scramble. Both were a hit. I used the bingo game while she was opening presents, and if she got a present or said a word on the card then they could X it off. Worked well, and kept everyones interest while opening presents.

I printed all levels of difficulty but the guests laughingly said the easy level was hard enough. They enjoyed it. I should have put a time limit on them too to increase the challenge.

The guests thought the medium difficulty was just right. I just wish that you had the option of printing the games without the moon and star graphics. The moon and star didn't go with our theme, so I had to retype on a pretty pink bordered paper.

I used the harder form of this game and everyone really enjoyed it. This was a group of university educated, professional women ages from 24 to 80 and after 15 minutes no one had them all. The winner got all but one. It was a great success and everyone was fascinated to know the answers.

This was a good "ice breaker" which I wanted because we don't see each other very often. Guests worked in groups of two or three since there were three children present and it also promoted interaction. Everyone received a "prize" just for playing.
