This turned out kind of silly, as mad libs do. It would be best with a younger crowd.
Funnier than I thougght it would be!

We sent the mother-to-be to another room. I divided the guests into two teams and gave each team a copy of the worksheet. As each team decided what words they would choose and a member of each team wrote it down, my co-host and I kept up with them by filling in the story blanks with the team's choices. As soon as they completed their sheets, my co-host and I read both stories and the mother-to-be chose the funniest story. The winning team members each received a small gift.

This was a lot of fun and we had A LOT of laughs. I would suggest 2 things: 1) Play in groups. Seperate everyone in a group of 3 or 4 and have them come up with the suggested word. With the same story being read, 3 different groups is plenty. 2) Tell the groups their answers do not have to be baby oriented. Although you are at a baby shower, sometimes looking for 'baby' words can slow the imagination down. Give everyone the freedom to 'think outside the box.' This game was a great success and baby's mom has some funny keepsakes to share later.
Lots of fun

We modified the way the game is played by having one person be the scribe. She read the sheet asking for the parts of speech and people called out suggestions randomly, the most popular one written down. Then we filled in the blanks and read it aloud to the group.
Guests enjoyed this game.

Guests enjoyed the game. It does quite a bit of time. I would break people up in groups of at least 3. Once you hear the Mad Lib about 4 times you're ready for the game to be done. I had problems with the game printing rightthe header was missing from the actual game.
