Brownwood, TX. August 20th, 2003 -- Wes-Tex, a printing company from Brownwood, TX hosted a company-wide baby shower in which employees donated unwrapped gifts for newborn babies.

"Wes-Tex is involved in helping the community when we can. Our focus is to 'Share The Gift'", says Ann Johnson, employee of Wes-Tex. "We heard that The Good Samaritans had a need for newborn babies. We gave a baby shower, and even though we didn't know the expectant mothers, we asked for unwrapped gifts for newborns. We also included back-to-school items, mainly backpacks, due to a huge need there as well."

The company invited all employees to come and play baby shower games, and eat cake and punch - whether they had participated in bringing a gift or not. "We had lots of feedback on the fun everyone had and the baby shower games helped enormously," said Johnson.
